Approved business fact sheet
The current public name, phone, URL, hours, location treatment, and service description become the reference for every source in the project.
Correct the public business details that matter
A focused inventory and correction workflow for important business directories, map providers, industry listings, duplicates, and legacy information.
Old information has a long afterlife
A business move, rebrand, phone change, or old marketing vendor can leave several versions of the same company online. Customers may call the wrong number or question which listing is current. Those contradictions can also appear when someone researches the business across search results, directories, maps, and answer tools.
We start with an approved set of business facts and concentrate on listings customers are likely to encounter, along with established data sources relevant to the client’s market. The work records who controls each listing, what was submitted, what the publisher accepted, and what remains unresolved. It does not rely on a bulk package that creates hundreds of low-value accounts.
What is included
The project identifies the public facts, ownership, duplicate risk, and correction path for each source included in the scope.
The current public name, phone, URL, hours, location treatment, and service description become the reference for every source in the project.
Each included source records the visible details, URL, ownership status, duplicate or legacy relationship, priority, and date reviewed.
The scope may include direct edits, claim requests, documentation, merge or suppression requests, and escalation notes appropriate to each publisher.
The client receives the current status, access and ownership notes, unresolved items, and a sensible schedule for checking the important listings again.
How the work proceeds
The client approves the business identity and contact details that customers should see, including the correct treatment of any private service-area address.
We review major search, map, social, business, and relevant industry platforms, plus legacy listings already appearing for the organization.
Customer-facing errors, duplicates, and influential sources are handled before minor differences on listings with little visibility or relevance.
Every correction is marked as submitted, accepted, pending, rejected, or inaccessible. The client can see where outside processing is still underway.

Primary guidance behind this service
Straight answers
No. This service is primarily about accurate public business information and reducing customer confusion. Some listings include a website link, but a directory citation does not replace editorial coverage or useful content.
No. We prioritize sources that customers can find, that matter to the industry, that carry authority, or that are already publishing a harmful conflict. More listings are not automatically more useful.
It varies by publisher and ownership status. A direct owner edit may be quick; a duplicate merge or unsupported legacy record can take longer. The report never counts a submission as an accepted change.
