The ALIGN method

A visibility practice built to be explained.

ALIGN is Biancorp’s operating method for SEO, AEO, GEO, Google Business Profile, and measurement work. It protects the baseline, labels the evidence, and ties activity to a business or ministry outcome.

Five connected stages

The method begins before the first edit.

Each stage produces a useful record. The sequence can be compressed for a focused project or repeated as an ongoing operating cadence.

  1. 01A

    Audit

Preserve and understand the current state.

Collect business facts, account ownership, profile history, website delivery, search data, citations, customer questions, and known conversion paths before changing live systems.

  2. 02L

    Link

Connect every signal to an audience and intent.

Map real services and questions to useful pages, eligible profiles, supporting sources, internal links, and a clear next action for the person searching.

  3. 03I

    Implement

Sequence improvements so the work stays explainable.

Resolve risk and contradictions first. Group changes by dependency, document purpose and date, and limit unnecessary simultaneous edits.

  4. 04G

    Gauge

Compare the new state with the same measuring stick.

Repeat controlled scans and prompt panels, read Search Console and profile data, test conversion paths, and connect inquiries to qualification and won work.

  5. 05N

    Nurture

Maintain accuracy and publish what customers still need.

Watch external profile changes, update material facts, answer emerging questions, strengthen firsthand evidence, and retire work that no longer serves the audience.

Evidence labels

Not every fact carries the same weight.

Reports label the origin of a statement so a platform rule, a measured outcome, an industry pattern, and a test idea do not blur together.

Platform-confirmed

Current official documentation, policies, specifications, or first-party reporting—linked and dated where material.

Organization-measured

Data from the organization’s verified accounts, CRM, lead records, controlled scans, or documented experiments.

Industry-observed

A credible recurring pattern or external study that may guide the work but does not prove the same effect for this client.

Testing hypothesis

A reasoned change with a defined measurement, observation window, dependency, and outcome that remains uncertain.

Change control

A clear record is part of the deliverable.

Search and profile systems can move for many reasons. A useful change log preserves who changed what, when, why, which evidence supported it, and what observation window follows.

Minimum change record

  • Baseline screenshot, export, or crawl reference
  • Account and person responsible
  • Exact page, field, profile, or source changed
  • Reason, evidence label, and known dependency
  • Date, expected processing time, and review date
  • Observed outcome and attribution limitation

The measurement chain

Visibility earns attention. The organization still has to earn trust.

Reporting keeps each stage distinct so a ranking, click, form, qualified opportunity, and won engagement are never counted as if they mean the same thing.

  1. 1DiscoverSearch, maps, answer, referral
  2. 2EngageVisit, call, read, watch
  3. 3InquireForm, booking, conversation
  4. 4QualifyFit, need, timing, service area
  5. 5ServeWon work or ministry outcome
